The Glasstudio H.K. is very well equipped with different glass materials and facilities for Hot, Warm and Cold glassmaking including Fusing, Casting, Blowing, Flameworking and Bead-making. Mr. K.C. Wong will demonstrate the fundamentals of basic glass making techniques.
The demonstration will cover the basics of cutting and shaping glass, the set up of the furnace and the use of machinery for cold working like grinding and sandblasting.
Participants are not required to have any glass working experience. Those who are interested in any particular glass making technique can sign up for more specialized courses later on in the year.
